When One Door Closes, Another One Opens…

I’m slowly but surely getting back into the habit of crocheting every day. So much so that I finished one project and have started a new one this week – happy days!

I finally finished my Rainbow From-The-Middle blanket on Monday, here it is in all it’s glory lol…

It’s certainly a monster! I made it big enough to fit a UK double bed, and I have to say by the end of it I’d well and truly had enough of it’s ever increasing rounds and countless DC’s 😛

But it’s great to finally see it finished – I hope to type the pattern and charts up over the weekend and get pictures of it too. Will let you know when both the physical blanket and the PDF to accompany it are in my Etsy <3

So, on to a new project – I have chosen to make yet another granny square blanket, but this time I aim to make different sized squares and join them all together as I go.

Here is my progress so far – these are the smaller, outer squares…

I am again using rainbow colours, but this time with 3 different shades of blue and turquoise. So it’s kind of like a turquoise dominated rainbow.

I hope this one won’t take me as long to make as the last one!

As I mentioned in my last post I’ve been re-organising my workspace, and snapped this pic of my little crochet hook corner…

As you can see, rainbow shades reach to every corner of my life lol!

So on to the weekend – we are having a new kitchen fitted so I will be confined to my workspace a lot of the day, so it’s a great opportunity to get that pattern typed up. I also intend to continue with my new turquoise-rainbow blanket.

Wishing you a happy crochet weekend! <3
