Blankets, Blankets, Blankets!

One of my favourite things to crochet are blankets – blankets of every size, shape and colour. So these past 2 weeks I have been busying myself with just that πŸ™‚

First up I completed my blue Scrapghan I mentioned in this post a few weeks ago – the one I made all the yarn cakes for?!

Blue Hue Lapghan/Baby Blanket

I’m really happy to have it finished – I think it was a great way to use scraps of unloved yarn, and the random colours look really pretty together!

I have listed this blanket as a finished item on my Etsy – I haven’t written out the pattern as it is a standard granny square using 2 rounds of the same colour, at random intervals.

I hope to make some more scrapghans soon – I have my eye on my collection of unused yellow yarn next…

Also today I have been on a photo binge and got photos taken of all my upcoming blanket patterns. All these following blankets will be available as PDF patterns very soon πŸ™‚

Nova’s Web Blanket

So that’s what I’ve been up to! As well as Christmas gifts, which are taking a little longer to complete than I first estimated πŸ˜› I do hope I get them finished in time…

  1. They’re so pretty! I find blankets to be hard to make. They require so much patience >_<.

  3. Love crocheted blankets! And you’ve made some great ones 😊
