I found this super cute pattern for Crochet Sushi on Tumblr this week and thought I’d share it with you 🙂
As you know I’m a big fan of all things Japanese, and sushi is no exception. I’ve seen many crocheted sushi pieces on the internet but this is the first free pattern I have found; it’s by Shellie Wilson at Craftbits.com – and it’s so kawaii!
Written in straight forward US terms, it is a clear and easy to read pattern, accompanied by a full photo tutorial. Learn how to make the base plate, the rice, topping and egg belt in no time at all.
I really like the simplicity of this pattern ,and the colours used make the pieces stand out and kind of ‘pop’. I will be trying this pattern myself – it’s just too cute to pass up!
If you’d like to check the pattern out yourself and make some kawaii crochet sushi, you can find the pattern here 🙂
I have added this pattern and more along with it to my Free Pattern Directory, which you can find here and at the top of the page. If you have any pattern you would like added to the directory, or think deserve a shout out, please comment below and I will be happy to add them to the ever growing list!
Take care, and Happy Crocheting! <3
