I’m in a blanket and blocks mood lately, so this week I’m featuring a pattern by my BFF – OnePinkHippo!
These beautiful blocks were designed by my good friend Jill (aka OnePinkHippo) earlier this year, and published on her awesome blog OnePinkHippo. Jill has designed a lot of different block, but I like this one the best as it features a circle, made square. I also really like the colours she used, especially on this particular block…
I even had a go at making this block myself, and I really enjoyed the pattern! The instructions are really clear and straight forward. For my block I used 4 colours of random DK yarn, with a 4mm hook…
I think a blanket or cushion made from these blocks would be so pretty! Like I said, I’m a big fan of the circles into square blocks, and this one is really nice, what with the flower-like edges of the circle 🙂
If you would like to make your own Zinnia Square, you can find the pattern here.
You can also check Jills other work and patterns out on her Ravelry page, here.
Have a lovely weekend! And Happy Crocheting! <3
