I’m back from my holiday! Pouty Larry and I had a great time with lots of pics and adventures to share – will upload them in a special post next week 🙂
This week on Free Pattern Friday I’d like to feature one of my favourite Attic24 patterns – the Blooming Flower Cushion.
The pattern is actually a reworking on a vintage potholder design from the 1940’s, rewritten by Two Butterflies. Lucy’s (Attic24) rewrite, however, includes a detailed explanation of how to increase in the rounds, and in addition how to turn it into a super cute cushion. And like all of Lucy’s creations – it is made in bright, happy colours 🙂
I have been working on some of these cushions myself for Christmas gifts, and really enjoy the pattern. It is super detailed, with both written and photo instructions. I also find I only need about 175g of acrylic DK yarn to make the entire cushion!

Take care, and Happy Crocheting! <3
